Making the human element visible.

Technical competence is essential. So is the ability to communicate, collaborate and make sound decisions under pressure.

Skills4Sea is a European Erasmus+ project focused on improving how non-technical skills are understood, trained and recognised in the maritime sector. These essential skills are often developed informally and remain difficult to assess.

The project combines research, training methodologies and digital tools to help bridge that gap, aligned with European and international maritime standards.
